September 26, 2013 St. Louis Missouri (KMOV) -A former McDonald’s manager is accused of plotting to rob the local restaurant he worked at using the help of his girlfriend and a friend earlier this year.
Obie Peeples, 20, Daija Mister, 17, and Tai’Lesha Wiggins, 18, were all charged Tuesday with first-degree robbery.
According to police, Peeples arranged for Mister and Wiggins to rob the McDonald’s in the 13600 block of Big Bend Rd. on Sept. 14.
Police said Mister and Wiggins entered the restaurant that day and displayed what appeared to be handguns while announcing a robbery.
Authorities said Peeples then took Mister and Wiggins to the safe and placed all the money inside in a bag and handed it to one of the women.
Police said the bag tore from the weight of some coins and spilled onto the floor.
The suspects then fled the store without any money in hand.
