September 2, 2013 Houston Texas (KHOU) – One man is dead and two others remain hospitalized after a shooting in front of Legends strip club early Sunday in west Houston, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a call of shooting at 5:30 a.m. in front of Legends, located in the 6300 block of Richmond Avenue near Unity. When police arrived, they found three men shot outside the club in a white Mercedes.
HPD homicide investigators said the victims were waiting in line to pull up to the front of the club when three to four gunmen pulled up, exited their vehicle and opened fire with handguns on the Mercedes.
Witnesses said that at least 30 shots were fired at the Mercedes before the suspects fled the scene.
Investigators said one of the victims died at the scene, while the other two were taken to Ben Taub Hospital in an unknown condition to be treated for gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
