August 31, 2013 Atlantic City New Jersey (News12NJ) – A homeless woman has pleaded guilty to stabbing two tourists to death in Atlantic City last year.
Prosecutors say 45-year-old Antoinette Pelzer used a large butcher knife to stab a mother and daughter, who were visiting from Canada, during a robbery attempt in May last year.
Pelzer’s attorney says the Philadelphia woman has schizophrenia.
Pelzer pleaded guilty to two counts of muder, and she faces two consecutive life sentences. A judge will sentence her on Oct. 24.
