August 22, 2013, St Louis (KMOV) – Two men wanted for shooting a twelve-year-old girl were taken into police custody on Tuesday.
The unidentified suspects were arrested at an apartment complex on the 1000 block of Suntree Drive in St. Louis County Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the two men were arguing at Loretta Hall Park near the intersection of 15th and Cole around 7:50 p.m. Sunday when they fired several shots before running off.
One of the stray bullets struck the girl playing in the park in the hand. She was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities on Monday released surveillance photos of the suspects. Both men appear to be in their 20s and have dreadlocks. One was wearing a blue shirt while the other had a white t-shirt one.
Further details into possible charges or the investigation were not immediately known.
