August 18, 2013 Riviera Beach Florida (WPBF) – Police made three arrests after a teenager was killed and a second injured Thursday in Riviera Beach.
Police were called to the shooting along the 1200 block of West 28th Street about 1 a.m.
Investigators said that once they arrived, they found Jeremy Taylor, 19, dead in the street.
A second victim, Emmanuel Augustin, 19, was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. He was listed in critical condition.
Investigators said two or more people exchanged gunfire.
Police said Fednel David, 17, was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder with a firearm. Moslaint Joseph and Fenel Joseph, both 18, face charges as accessories.
“I just know my little brother was 19 years old, and he was too young to be killed,” Latoya Taylor told WPBF 25 News. “He wasn’t perfect, (but) we love him and we miss him so much.”
Authorities said the three men were questioned by deputies after the car that took Augustin to the hospital was listed as stolen. An investigation determined spent bullet casings were found in the vehicle.
